I am entirely here for Matt using flirting to get what he needs. Or seduction. Or really anything related to the whole idea that his body is his greatest weapon and that doesn't always mean fist fighting.

Somewhat of a vague and maybe weird/speculative prompt, but maybe someone is interested.

I was re-watching an old Star Trek TNG episode last night, Conundrum, in which the entire crew has their memories, but not personalities, wiped, as a result of contact with an alien species. As they attempt to piece together what happened, what their mission/purpose is, who they are when they don't know themselves. It got me thinking, how interesting would it be to see a situation where Matt, Foggy, Karen, and/or Claire are placed in a situation where their memories, but not their intrinsic identity, are suppressed or temporarily wiped. How would they interact with each other? What pull might they feel towards each other that rises to the surface, sans-inhibitions? Would they be captured by aliens? An alien brain-ray? You decide what the handwavey reasons are for this happening, but I just am curious how someone might use this prompt/plot device.

The sad part is whenever I see 'duck' now my brain just substitutes the correct word.

I now like to imagine Shake it Out is banned because Karen and Foggy get into fights about Taylor Swift, like maybe Karen is one of T-swift's so-called haters, or they argue about which one is her best album.

Matt guess dossed with truth serum (or anything like that) and even if Foggy already knows he's Daredevil there are other things Matt doesn't wanna share.
Maybe Foggy doesn't even let Matt tell him anything, because he realizes how mortified Matt is. Maybe he can't react to everything Matt is saying about how hard it was to be in love with Foggy since day one. I'd love a babbling, honest Matt.

+Karen finds out Matt is Daredevil (he tells her)
++Karen is unimpressed.

Matt and Foggy meet in school, become best friends, and then start to date. Let's say post-graduation, so they aren't trying to mix roommates with boyfriends all at once. Landman & Zack, etc., and Matt starts daredeviling. Matt knows there's no way he could hide disappearing at night and being covered with injuries if he and Foggy were in a relationship.

So he breaks up with him.

Foggy's just starting to readjust to Matt as just-a-friend when he finds out, and realizes Matt chose crime fighting over him.

Matt is a closeted or semi-closeted trans woman and reluctantly comes out to her college roommate Foggy, who is as a accepting of her gender as of her blindness.
Matt doesn't want to publicly come out or transition (at least not at the moment), but she enjoys playing around with pronouns and presentation when it's only her and Foggy. Even though she can't technically see it, she decides that she wants to try what wearing make-up would be like and Foggy offers to help her out.

Just some cute college era fluff. I'd love some Matt/Foggy or pre-Matt/Foggy, but friendship is fine too.
Foggy's gender identity is up to the filler, btw. Go wild!

So, like, Matt only had one friend before the show starts. He's had girlfriends but none of those relationships last. He doesn't seem to talk to anyone outside of work. So how difficult was it to adjust to Karen's presence in his life- in and outside of the office?

Does Karen bug him to eat? Does she have a habit of playing music at the office that Matt can't stand? Does he get slightly jealous listening to Karen and Foggy's banter?

Crazy in love and D.A.N.CE are both banned because Foggy and Matt can't keep their hands off each other when those songs play. :DDD

Now I'm picturing Vlad whispering really filthy things in Matt's ear: "You're so hard for me." And pulling Matt's hair to keep his head still so he can lick his neck and bite him. "You want this. Whore. Come for me."

Matt tries to break up a sex trafficking ring, but gets caught. They decide he's more useful to them alive than dead, and so they "train" him (I'm talking fucking machines, chairs with dildos in them, making him practice on a fake cock, vibrator torture, putting a cage around his dick, etc)

Wouldn't that episode be based on the short story _The Most Dangerous Game_?

Which is not to say that this wouldn't be awesome. I always love the Die-Hard style, secret awesomeness winning out over the grandiose plans of the bad guy, and you don't get much more secretly awesome than blind Matt Murdock's ninjaness. (Ninjacity? Ninjation?)

Matt having to rely on people to drive him literally EVERYWHERE if he wants to go somewhere because there is no public transportation and the nearest anything is 30 minutes away by car.

Being creeped out by the near silence in the middle of the night. Everyone in town is asleep by midnight or earlier.

The sound of an ambulance or police siren can be heard for MILES and it's so ridiculously startling whenever they hear one.

Everyone knows everyone and they are all suspicious of the "Strangers" in town.

To be fair, Matt and Foggy seem to prefer hanging out at the local pub with a whole bunch of regulars over going to the movies, too. (Or, you know, putting on a mask and beating people up. Depends on whether you are Matt or Foggy, I guess.)

A, all of this for the prompt, yes.

B, you've also just successfully reminded me why I am a city girl. :P

Because apparently I really need to redo all the 'horrible things happening to Matt' as 'horrible things happening to Foggy prompts'.

Matt can't exactly leave him on his own because who knows what side-effects it has, he also can't leave him with anybody else because he can't risk him spilling his secret.
So he has to stay. Knowing exactly that Foggy already isn't happy about how much Matt can tell about him with his senses and now he's spilling even more secrets.
Matt tries really desperately to get Foggy shut up/keep the conversation about non-incriminating topics but during that mentions something in passing that shocks him so much he's asked WHAT? before his brain has processed what a very bad idea that is.
Now preferences about what exactly that is.

Alternately Foggy just won't shut up about how much it hurt to find out that his best friend lied to hom since they met.

WBC actually has its own law firm (consisting of five of the founder's children), which represents the 'church' in legal battles, so I don't know if they would seek representation outside their own firm. As far as I know, they're always represented by the Phelps Chartered Law Firm.

I saw the other prompt and thought to myself, "self, would Matt try to flirt with people he absolutely hates if he thought it would get him information?" And then I realized this was Matt freaking Murdock.

Give me Matt flirting with random thugs. Flirting with Wesley. Flirting with Fisk after he walks in on he and Vanessa at the art gallery. All of Hell's Kitchen knows about that one lawyer that will absolutely charm the pants off of everyone. Conversely, the entire criminal underworld knows about that one vigilante who will either beat the shit out of you or try to get in your pants for information. He's not really picky.

(Then he gets in over his head and someone he can't fucking stand actually flirts back and he's all "WHAT DO I DO NOW".)

Ooh, I'd really like to see the second one. (Though probably not the actual WBC, as 10 of Phelps' offspring are lawyers)

Foggy giving his own witness the third degree until they yell, "okay, I was trying to get hit for money and attention, are you happy now?

Matt ducking out for some quick daredeviling, coming back beat up, then claiming some nut in a mask attacked him in the bathroom.
