Honestly I can't decide on which one would be more embarrassed. Matt for popping a boner against his most hated enemy, of Fisk for, ahem, "aggravating" said boner every time he tries to move to extricate himself from wherever the fuck they are (am I the only one that's picturing them trapped underneath a pile of rubble? Maybe a building collapsed in on them).

Either way, someone needs to fill this because it's too delicious a scenario not to. >D

(I imagine Matt would have to be in the ugly red suit tho. Otherwise Fisk would just reach up and take Matt's mask off).

A!A here. Oh, you have no idea. Full confession: my childhood friend of sixteen years does autopsies for a living and has cut into a lot of dead people. As soon as I saw this I started bouncing ideas off of her and she had a lot of great suggestions. So while I am not a doctor, I do have a medical professional kibitzing in my ear as I outline this.

Honestly, every single iteration of this needs to be written, like, yesterday. There's just so much potential in this prompt! XD;;

as the author of the other 616 + MCU crossover (a tale of two matts, more gen than the other one): I totally approve of this. give me the goddamn threesome. foursome if we count Kirsten, and we should.

Objection. ;) I have an alternate pov. He wasn't trying to keep her in a barefoot and pregnant relationship, he was trying to keep her safe and give her a place to stay that nobody knew about. Does he overstep by asking her to stay? Sure, but what was the alternative? Treating her injuries and sending her back to her place? Does he force her to stay? No, and she obvs leaves later, though I was a little bothered that they'd known each other for 2 weeks and Claire threw out that quasi ultimatum about Matt needing to be someone different before she could fall in love with him. She knows who he is, what he's capable of, what he does, she's been supportive up to a point, but one kiss and suddenly she's throwing out something of a challenge. Matt is the one who torpedoed whatever chance they had at a relationship though when he agreed with her, and walked out. He apologizes for it later, but after everything we've seen on the show, I absolutely buy that he'd rather suffer being lonely than have a relationship with her and see her be hurt for it (again). It broke my heart when Matt said goodbye to Claire, GOODBYE like he was going to be dead soon, and I think that's what made Claire leave, finally understanding that Matt's not going to stop putting on the suit. I'm just glad they split on good terms, and I look forward to seeing her in JJones or especially with Luke Cage, since she's his ex.

I want this so badly I might just write it because uggggggggggh this is so hot

OP - I have been avoiding the meme for the past couple of days because I have been trying to finish a paper for school, but I needed a break and decided to check the meme. This escalated quickly! I went through all the comments and read them all. I am in love with all the idea you guys have been talking about.

I am so glad I posted this prompt.

Also, I am dying thinking about Foggy messing around with Matt/DD and knowing the entire time that they are the same person.

Foggy has definitely been staring at Matt's face for how many years? If DD smiles in front of Foggy, Foggy would just know that Matt/DD were the same person because he knows that adorable little smile from anywhere and DD would notice Foggy's heart going speeding up and be like 'You okay?'. Foggy would have cover and be like, 'Yeahhhh...you have some very nice....lips?' which isn't a lie soooo yeah. IMO, Charlie Cox has a very recognizable smile...he's like a big happy puppy(also his nose for some reason stands out to me lol).

Also, DD trying be a matchmaker for them. omg!

I want every single one of these to be written. All the humiliated Matt fics!

You have no idea how happy this makes me because EVERY single House crossover I've read was just the author picking a case from the show and applying that illness to their character of choice.

And OMG YES, I want to see this threesome. Oh so very much. And then 616!Matt can go home, have a nice long talk with Kirsten, and then they can both go have a nice long talk with Foggy. Because that threesome is also a thing that should happen. :D

Yes, I wanted to avoid that as much as possible...and because the show doesn't have any one case that fits what I'm trying to do with the story. I mean, it's House, there's going to be shit tons of emotional manipulation from all parties involved but the medical stuff should be original so that it feels like a real episode. That's how I'm approaching it anyway.

Hey there, OP! I am so very, very relieved you don't mind us kind of exploding your prompt here. I am also very glad you posted it! :D

I don't know how I got from "but the revelation in this verse would be so awful!" to "and then Foggy figured it out and decided to screw with Matt!" but it's been a fun ride! :3

Because yeah, I think he'd eventually figure it out. And Matt's lovely smile would be a big part of it, I think. Because he won't be able to playact as big bad Daredevil all the time, seeing as how he's completely gone on Foggy. Pretty damning evidence, when taken into account with Matt's mysterious (and very concerning!) injuries.
