as someone who was a major twihard in their youth (hardcore analysation of the quotes that got released before Breaking Dawn is one of my fave memories) I need to see this tbh

oh man I may actually have to write it, then, omg. I was SO ridiculously into Twilight, I used to take pictures with my shitty flip phone of anything that reminded me of Edward. (look at that rose! it reminds me of Edward!)

I re-read parts of the novels and I'm realizing how much better Jacob was for Bella than Edward was. Like, in terms of healthiness. Jacob and Bella had a much more healthy relationship. Why did I love Edward so much? eek. (I really liked Seth the werewolf, too.)

Matt Murdock as Edward Cullen... I really might have to write that omfg.

Anon apparently my bitterness at never having my own flip phone still continues because I'm way jealous.

My friendship group was the first to get into Twilight at my school so i was like 'ohmygod I'm so cool. ahead of the trend' Breaking Dawn was really when I was like 'wow this is… not… good..'
(I will say I'm still sort of fond of her other novel The Host.. which I may have to… prompt here actually)

There was so much messed up in the book and the relationship of Bella and Edward is so so high on the list tbh.

tbh i feel like everyone's favorite thing regarding those novels was the other vamp clans that showed up later...? i don't even remember the main cast of breaking dawn because i was so focused on garrett the revolutionary war vet vampire....who was later portrayed by lee pace. obviously, young me had very good taste.

yeah breaking dawn was the breaking point (pun intended) for me too. I was like... I don't give a shit about the vulturi, I don't give a flying fuck about renesmee. I liked the parts with Seth, Jacob and Leah though.
