Somebody uses mind control/brainwashing to make random civilians attack Daredevil.

So why'd it have to be Foggy?

Just Matt trying hard as he can to not hurt Foggy, while Foggy tries to kill him.

What was it like, was he aware of what was going on and screaming in his head to 'STOP HURTING MATT' or was he blacked out?

OP does Matt know that Foggy is being mindcontroled? Because it's like a x100 more painful if he doesn't.

Oh shit! I didn't even consider the possibility of Matt not knowing! When I pictured the scenario it was blank-faced Foggy following order from the villain, but that, that's WAY worse!

Either way's fine with me, but now I'm kind of leaning towards him not knowing at first.
