Matt is the literal devil-- or at least, Lucifer. I think someone's prompted something similar, but I've been listening to too much Hozier, particularly this song.

Thing is, he doesn't know it. He's got his whole tortured do-gooder with a dark side thing, but he really doesn't know the extent to which 'the devil is in him.' He starts to become aware of it and oh noes, angst and fate and theological things.

Is Claire an angel? Is Matt destined to be evil? Do I maybe need to pick a new song to listen to on repeat?

Okay so now I have to go listen to that song again with this in mind guh this prompt is so freaking cool
