nah, it's normal. I'm in ASOIAF fandom, there is a LOT of dissecting and nitpicking going on there, especially re: tiny details, as that is what happens when you have to wait between books and the show adaptation makes shit look like gold. granted, people in this fandom can be a hell of a lot nicer than ASOIAF fandom when it comes to nitpickery.

fandom can be pretty nitpicky! sometimes over the weirdest details. it kind of varies, I guess.
