I'd love to think that they're putting in all this subtext in order to eventually explore the possibility of foggy not being het but...I'm just so used to shows queerbaiting and tbh a lot of it seems like standard queerbaiting to me (stuff like talking about getting married/suggesting they're going to kiss each other especially). It'd be lovely if I'm wrong though because it's true that a lot more shows recently are getting more inclusive of queer characters, even having them as main protagonists (black sails anyone? Omgosh) and Netflix I think is especially good at it.

Basically, I headcanon foggy as anything but straight but I can't conclude from what they give us in the show that he's not being portrayed as straight because queerbaiting has given me a complex :') he'd have to actually kiss a dude at least twice...

IAWTC. I think there's definitely enough there that if they actually decided to ante up and make Foggy queer, it wouldn't be coming out of nowhere--but I'm really burned out on queerbaiting from other shows (okay, mostly from Supernatural), so while I headcanon him as bi/pansexual, I'm not holding my breath for the show to actually go there.

That said, if they DID, I would totally leap from the couch and do a happy dance.
