I just rewatched episode 7 and there's this piece of dialogue.
Matt: What the hell are you doing in my city?
Stick: Your city? Hell's Kitchen hates your guts.
So I see where the confusion comes from.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 02:22 am (UTC)(link)There's also dialogue Matt has in the final fight with Fisk that's like "This is my city; my family..." after Fisk was going on about how Hell's Kitchen doesn't deserve him and his grand plans. So at least I'm justified in my weird confusion?
