Defenders-only Discussion Post

This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.

Rules:

General
1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. If you don't like something, scroll on.
2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2017 TV show in some way.
5. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

Prompts
1. All types of prompts are welcome.
2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).
3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.

Fills
1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.
2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.
3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.
4. Multiple fills are always okay.

Idk i find it unfair how much blame they put on Matt for his involvement with the Hand and the Chaste. Like the ninja war woulda left him out if hed just hung up the mask. Just something where they realize Matt really had no choice.
This could be anytime but posting here bc during or post-defenders is preferred, especially if claire calls em out or stick is involved.

This an interesting topic cause the way i see it both Karen and Foggy have a point simply because they were outsiders to everything. Matt told them only halfs truths and not the whole story. For Karen and Foggy the right answer was not to get involve and they will leave you alone (like what Matt told Jessica before they went into the Midland Building) but that was not the case. For them it was like "I told you so" moment and i get how it looks like it was unfair from them to think like that but from their perspective where they have seen their frined injured and in pain, they dont want their friend to suffer and when Shit went down it was easy to blame him cause of their own anger torward everything than to see what brought their friend to do what he had done.

I see your point but im not after villifying karen and foggy. I just want a revelation scene where they realize or are told matt has no choice. Literally exactly what you describe is why i want it.

I'd love to read a fic about the subject. And I also feel that they were unfair and very one track minded in their rejection. I understand that they didn't have the whole picture but they didn't try really hard to get it. And each time Matt tried to explain how important (for him and for the city) it was they didn't listen. They showed zero faith in their friend (in the fact that he was a good man, not stupid, and thus that he could have very valid reasons for doing what he did), and that's upseting. I still haven't forget nor 100% forgive Foggy for accusing Matt to only being a vigilante to punch people, in season 1, and to create trouble in order to save the day in season 2. Like, wth ?). But I agree with the no bashing policy.
