Mcu wiki (grain of salt, i dont know if its official. Probably not, and im too drunk to deal with all the wikis crashing like the hindenburg because of the traffic from Civil War)
Whoever they might be claim that Elektra was first, with several years of off-camera training before that unfortunate murder business when she was 12

It then claims that Matt's training began the year his father died, when he was 10 years old

Elodie Yung is indeed 2 years older than Charlie Cox, so assuming Stick immediately took Matt on as a rebound student, that would seem logical. But lots of things seem logical at 2AM so i might be totally missing or misunderstanding something.

I love the mcu wiki but it's not official and while I appreciate they're trying to go with the actor's ages, it's pretty obvious on the show that no character is sticking with the actor's ages. Foggy is supposedly the same age as Karen, and Elden is way older than Deborah, not to mention Elektra supposedly meets Matt in law school, but the 10 Years Ago title card doesn't make ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER as I think has already been mentioned here on the km lol.

Honestly, so much is left unsaid re: Stick/Matt/Elektra that it could be argued either way but it doesn't really matter much to me because what matters to me is how Stick treats them in the modern day. Stick holds Matt in higher regard even though he's an ass to him and gets frustrated with him constantly, and Stick acts like Elektra was just this huge mistake, he wants to erase her, and Elektra wants to kill Stick too. Like holy shit wtf. But even Matt says he doesn't care what Stick has done, or even what he did to Matt, it's about how much Matt cares about Stick and how much credit he gives Stick for being there when Matt needed him, and ultimately how much Matt ISN'T holding a grudge against Stick for all his perceived transgressions. (tbh I'll probably always have a lot of issues with Stick for the things he did to little Matt, and Matt forgiving Stick for everything kind of makes me want to shake Matt a little ngl but I can sort of see why being loved and forgiven might mean something to Stick)
