My favourite part of his lack of control is all of his tells, which were consistent between seasons.

Like, how can you tell Matt's sad and spinning out? His patchy beard of sadness. When he's not shaving, you know he's stressed.

How can you tell he feels comfortable around you and trusts you? Are the glasses on or off?

He's definitely not someone who it would be difficult to read.

Well he's blind, so he wouldn't be conscious of his own micro-expressions like sighted people. His head-tilting both as Matt and as DD must be incredibly obvious to an attentive observer, for example. In short his body language must broadcast tells from 5000 miles away.

I'm sorry but "patchy beard of sadness" has me lol'ing... poor Matt.
