This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Jessica Jones.

Spoiler policy: Any prompts involving the events of Jessica Jones Season 2 should go here until 8th April 2018, regardless of who the prompt focuses on. All crossovers with The Defenders/any of the individual shows should go here until 8th April - after that, crossovers can go on whichever prompt post you think fits best.

General

4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

So. Give me 5 times that Jessica Jones could have met Matt Murdock, but somehow for some reason didn't.

That's it.

Anyway, my prompt is, Claire and Jessica meet in a meet cute sort of way except there are bad guys and guns and so forth involved. Maybe Jessica need patching up like Matt did and daredevil s2. Maybe she's running from whatever and literally runs into Claire. IDK. I just really want to set this ship a sailing.

I really like the roll Claire plays in DD. She doesn't get a lot of moments of light. But the ones she does get are so much more memorable than the other characters. And JJ looks like it's going to be even darker. Which is all the more reason to love Claire's light. <3

Jessica ends up with a cat. She's not entirely sure how this happened.

Bonus if the cat just appeared in her apartment one day and demanded to be fed.

Jess and Natasha then start a club for People Who Were Chosen By Cats.

{let's ignore the fact that Matt is impervious to Zebediah's mind control}

So Zebediah tries his mind tricks on Foggy (ex:go jump of a cliff) and Foggy just looks at him like "dude,the hell is your problem?" This leads to a morally wrong friendship/relationship that Foggy desperately tries to hide because Zebediah is an evil prick but he's also really funny.

I totally picture the cat being kind of scraggly looking, but Jessica falls for how scrappy yet sweet it is.

Jessica reclaims her body by doing whatever she wants with it. Some things are easy; dying her hair bubblegum pink, painting her nails gold and silver, eating coco pops at 3am because she can. Other things are harder. Like going to therapy, or masturbating.

I'm definitely thinking of crossing this over with the Claire can talk to cats prompt I filled a while back. A+ for talking cats.

A blind drunk Jessica is helped by Father Lantom, who sees certain similarities with his favorite troubled parishioner.

Jessica and Brett Mahoney investigate the same case. Things get heated.

i can't stop thinking about this prompt, i might try to fill it. i've never written jj fic before but i've read the comics and feel like i have a pretty good grasp on her character. i'll have to mull it over and see what i can come up with!

jessica meets the avengers. maybe steve sees her fly off one day? or stop a moving car and he gets curious and tries to find out more

bonus points if she for some reason throws a guy off a building in front of steve (or another avenger) and then casually asks for a drink (don't worry she was totally planning on eventually flying down to catch him. maybe).

(Okay I did it! I might expand on it more later, this is more of a minifill)

Sometimes she had to remind herself that she could do whatever she wanted now that he was gone. She would try, always expecting to be pulled back by something wrapped around her brain, but she never was. Not anymore.

It was small things she tried at first, just baby steps. Going out to a bar (that was the first thing she did, and she did a lot of it afterwards) or eating something that he wouldn’t have approved of (she could hear him in her head, calling her disgusting names, insulting her as she ate her first slice of pizza since she was freed of him).

Sex was an easy “fuck you” to him. After all those months of pleading, of begging, she needed to be able to do it herself. It was easy to go out to a bar, down half a bottle of whisky, and then pick up the first man she saw. She never really enjoyed the sex itself (would she ever enjoy it again?) but she enjoyed the feeling of control it gave her.

She owned her own body. No one would take that away from her again.

Once she got through the easy (easier?) things: eating pizza, drinking alone, fucking strangers, she progressed onto the harder parts.

Masturbating was the hardest (at least, she thought it was). Sex was easy. Sex was a distraction. She could focus her attention completely on someone else, take control of her body that way. Maybe fake an orgasm or three. But she couldn’t hide when she tried it on herself. There was no one else to focus on.

And when she closed her eyes she could still hear his voice.

It was two years between when she was freed of him and when she finally managed an orgasm. Two long years of seeing his face every time she closed her eyes, of checking every room when she first got home, making sure she was really alone. Two long years of paranoia.

Something changed with that first orgasm. She felt safer, freer. She had reclaimed herself from him, just a little bit more.

She considered therapy but she couldn’t bring herself to do it. The idea of speaking what had happened to her, of saying those things out loud—the very thought made her sick to her stomach.

She challenged herself in other ways though. Once she had established that she could have sex, once she had proven to herself that she had complete control over that, she tried not having sex. Prove to herself that she wasn’t the slut, the whore, the needy little bitch he had always told her she was.

She went thirteen weeks without sex before she was convinced that she could hold off indefinitely if she wanted to.

She never dared try that with alcohol. Thirteen weeks without the numbness she got from it—whisky, gin, tequila, rum, whatever was on hand—sounded like hell. Worse than hell. She’d have to relive it all every night.

The only way she could ever close her eyes without seeing his face, that godawful purple colour invading her thoughts, was with a half a dozen shots or more. Getting blackout drunk meant no dreams.

And she would rather be hungover to high hell than dream of him.

Would anything ever be safe again?

Matt keeps running into the drunk, cigarette smoking, PI from Hell's Kitchen, both as Matt and as Daredevil.

He slowly figures out that she has powers too (does he notice her fly when she thinks no one is around?)

++if Jess becomes BFFs with Daredevil
+++++ if they chill out together on rooftops when Jess is really drunk and doesn't want to be alone

It looks like it's about to eat your soul.

as the op the other prompt (I do belive we're talking about the same prompt) I support you anon!!

You know, the one she had before Jessica interfered. Give me Matt, who really thinks she's innocent, Foggy, who's only really making token objections ("oh my god Murdock you need to stop picking up strays, it's bad for business."), and Karen, who sees a bit more of herself than she's really comfortable with in Hope.
Give me Matt fighting to keep Hope's case, because he knows that the shark of a lawyer that's trying to take over isn't really looking out for Hope's interests.
Give me Jessica having to deal with these lawyers who she may like more than her sort-of-friend/partial-employer, and who actually believe her (and don't object too strongly to her unorthodox ways).
Give me Trish not being targeting because Murdock has a complex and he won't let her get hurt instead of him.
Give me Jessica finding out about Matt's secret blind ninja skills and DD and totally using it to her advantage.
Give me the Jessica Jones/Daredevil interaction we all want.
