ok this will be a Tiny Fill and probably terrible bc its 3 am on a school night and im kinda pretty high so.. yea. im very sorry about this. (also in my country we dont really have bagels so i have no fuckin idea how to make them so i changed it to cupcakes i hope you dont mind)

"Those are some skilled hands you got there"

Matt freezes as soon as the words come out of his mouth. He feels Foggy's body tense behind him, too.

It starts when Foggy finally gets a decent oven, and suddenly all the lessons from that baking elective he took his sophomore year (he tried to lie about it at first, but Matt caught on pretty quickly, especially since he would come home smelling of pastries and vanilla) come rushing back. He starts bringing his creations into work, muffins and brownies (which Matt was very suspicious of, remembering that time at college when Foggy gave him a pot brownie without telling him) and cupcakes and pies, just from time to time at first, until it becomes a weekly event. Matt and Karen eagerly await his arrival every monday, and then they have breakfast together at his desk.

After a while, he asks Foggy for lessons. He's slightly embarrassed about it and keeps his head down so Foggy won't see the blush on his face. He's not sure why he asks, he doesn't particularly want to learn. He likes the idea of Foggy walking him through it, of his hands kneading the dough while the room is warm and Foggy's laughing and everything smells of flour and sugar and whatever else goes into a cupcake. So he asks, and tries not to seem too coy about it.

So one night Foggy takes him home and teaches him the secret arts of baking. They get caught up in flour fight, as it is to be expected ("It's not fair!" Foggy says, "you've got your daredevil senses crap!") and once they're done, covered in white, Foggy brushes some Flour off of Matt's cheek. His heart nearly jumps out of his chest. He can't help but lean slightly into the touch. He's so close Matt can feel his breathing against his face. He manages to snap out of it quickly enough that his reaction goes unnoticed, but it takes him a second to still his heart again.

They move on to the actual baking, but Matt can't stop thinking about it. He feels a little nervous, and a little of something else he doesn't quite have a name for, but that seems to show up whenever he's close to Foggy like this. A kind of comfort, of warmth, of restlessness. It doesn't help that Foggy keeps getting him to taste ingredients, holding up spoonfuls of sugar to his mouth or, on one occasion, having him lick icing off his finger, which makes him suspect for a horrifying second that Foggy's caught on and is messing with him.

He's trying to hold back, but he can't stop thinking about this, about Foggy mixed with the scent of chocolate and vanilla and flour sticking to his hair and how much he wants to reach out and--

He tries to snap out of it, but then Foggy's behind him and his warmth seeps into Matt's back, his hands on Matt's, guiding them through the process of kneading the dough into submission, and he can't help himself.

"Those are some skilled hands you got there"

He says it as a joke, and usually they would've just laughed about it, but Matt goes very still as soon as it's out of his mouth, and Foggy notices. They stay quiet, unmoving for a second, but Foggy doesn't take his hands away. Matt feels he should be kicking himself mentally, but he can't bring himself to do it. Foggy's breath is warm against the back of Matt's neck, and his hands tighten a little around Matt's. They slide off, slowly, and wrap around Matt's wrists, stroking his pulse with his thumb. Matt's breathing stutters a little, and it's embarrassing, really, he barely manages to bite down a whine. Foggy's closer, pressed against Matt, his face less than an inch away from his skin, and before he can stop himself he tentatively grinds his ass back into Foggy.

Then that brief moment of quiet, of stillness, breaks into a rush of hands and ragged breaths. Foggy kisses and bites his way from his neck to his jaw to his lips, his tongue sweet with sugar and artificial flavoring, and his hands settle on Matt's hips. He spins him around and awkwardly tries to push him up onto the counter. Matt helpfully lifts himself up on the counter and grab's Foggy's collar to kiss him again. Foggy settles between his legs and goes on to suck a bruise on Matt's neck, just below his jaw. Matt doesn't realize he's been letting out little moans until Foggy comments on it, ("God, Matty, you're loud"), and when he does he puts his hands on Foggy's face and mashes their lips together to save himself the embarrassment.

Foggy's hands wander from his waist to his hips and he pulls him closer, and Matt has to restrain himself not to buck his hips into the air. After what seems like forever (a good kind of forever, really) Foggy breaks away from him and whispers against his mouth, "bedroom?". Matt nods enthusiastically. Still, he doesn't move right away. He wants to make this last for as long as he can, doesn't want to miss any of it. He tugs Foggy's bottom lip with his teeth. Foggy laughs into the kiss.

"I guess you didn't learn much about baking," he says.

Matt figures it doesn't really matter.

Next morning, he wakes up to an empty bed and the smell of pancakes being made in the kitchen.

Awwww, YES, this is the sort of cute fluffy sweetness I need every day of my life ! I love Matt being a goner on Foggy !

This was really cute! I like how it was Matt-focused-on-Foggy-focused.
