Oh man, Matt, nearly all-powerful freaking Satan, dealing devils and swallowing the souls of hardened criminals, totally would fall in love with the nice, fuzzy guy with strong morals and no stomach for Hellish punishments but a sharp tongue that'd school him but good. XD

Like Foggy starts yelling at him for some deal Matt agreed to that is corrupt as hell (... heh, no pun intended), and Matt's heart starts racing and his face gets flushed and he just drops down to his knees and crawls over to Foggy and grabs the end of his shirt and confesses breathlessly, yes, yes, it was wrong, what they did, what I did, you can punish me, okay, please?

And the demons huddled in the doorway who'd been about to get Matt's sign-off for some land bargaining contract with Hela just back away slowly and decide they can get the signature later.

And Foggy's like, "...whoa. Uh. Can we just, like, withhold dessert for a week?"

This is what I crave.

Like maybe at first Matt is just charmed by Foggy and was intending to just like, keep him safe in Hell and stay friends despite the whole ridiculous situation, thought things would be a little awkward but ultimately work out, now Matt's got a friend to chill with after a long day of setting arsonists on fire in the pit.

And then Foggy starts YELLING AT HIM over some over-the-top punishments, and all the demons expect Matt to shred Foggy into a million slivers for that. But Matt gets this FEELING he hasn't felt for the longest time, and he not only wants Foggy to keep yelling at him about the hell punishments, he wants Foggy to yell at him about rebelling against God and inspiring other angels to join him in his rebellion. And he wants Foggy to hurt him too. Because he deserves it.
And Foggy, who was actually kind of terrified of Matt the Devil and realized about a second after the words were out of his mouth how he was almost certainly about to be melted for yelling in the face of SATAN, Foggy now has to deal with the Devil Himself on his knees and begging for more chastisement.

Foggy, who was actually kind of terrified of Matt the Devil
Wait but he knew, didn't he? Like the original prompt was him selling his soul for Satan to be his friend, and if Matt kept him around instead of taking his soul because he's become fond of him over the years... did Foggy just not realize quite how brutal Matt could be, or what a top dog he was?

(Also, there's a comic called Empowered where a girl does exactly this - she gets into black magic and summons demons in order to have someone to talk to, until they strike a deal with her but fuck up and accidentally give her a shit ton of power. XD)

I can't write intense or sexy or emotional things, or I would fill this in a heartbeat, but I am sharing ALL your headcanons on this prompt, OP. ☺

Foggy: I - I am not going to punish you, what the hell, Matt?! You're Satan!

Matt: *leans in* And you're acting regent when I'm out of the office. You can absolutely punish me. I'll teach you how -

Foggy: *flees* YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TEACH ME TO PUNISH PEOPLE

Matt: *follows* Technically, I'm not a person.

Foggy: *flees* OR DEVILS.

Matt: *follows* But heavenly revolution -

Foggy: *flees* NO.

Matt: *follows* But swallowing souls of teenagers -

Foggy: No, stop, why are you - stop trailing after me like a lost puppy!

Matt: *follows* But taking advantage of vulnerable people in a bad place -

Foggy: No, stop, SIT!

Matt: *drops to his knees, crosses his wrists behind his back, and lowers his head, breathing heavily*

Foggy: O-oh my g-god...

Minions eavesdropping at the entrance: *gasp* He really is the lord's consort!

Oh my god, imagine if Foggy becomes Matt's dom and has to teach The Ruler of Hell about safewords.

*cackling* I LOVE IT. Matt would just be like, I... am... the Devil? I don't need safewords?? ???? You can't really hurt me? (BUT PLEASE TRY ANYWAY? PLEASE?)

Foggy: NO. Safeword or no go. If you want me to tie you up and lash you, we are going to use a safeword, for my sanity as much as your comfort.

And then the first time Matt uses a safeword (even though he probably didn't/doesn't need it(), the minions of hell would go quiver in a corner because this mortal, Foggy Nelson, got the Devil to break.

And then because Foggy is a kind person he's big on the aftercare, and he's so proud of Matt for actually using the safeword, and this makes Matt actually break...

..... and demonic activity around them is suspiciously quiet for a few weeks

Would this be an appropriate point to bring up that notion of Matt never safewording to spare himself any sort of pain or damage, but being totally undone by anything kind? :D

(Unable to deal with Foggy's affection and whispering his safeword (outside a sexual encounter?) despite himself and Foggy being entirely startled but stopping immediately to check if he's all right, only to find that the Devil is crying...)

I was just about to point that out. Like, Matt wants to be punished in the traditional sense, he wants pain, he wants to be hurt and he wants Foggy to tell him how bad and disobedient he's been and how he DESERVES to be down here in Hell forever.

But then Foggy is KIND to him. Foggy is AFFECTIONATE and CUDDLES HIM. Foggy is NUZZLING HIS NECK during Hell Council Meetings. Foggy is wringing orgasms out of Matt until he's overstimulated and he he hasn't felt anything close to this since the dawn of time he almost feels HOLY AGAIN ... SAFEWORD!

I am all about characters with low self-esteem who want to be HURT, breaking down when someone shows them genuine affection and care. Crying. Clinging to their dom. Just completely wrecked. I am all about that.

(Other anon) Yup, that's precisely what I meant by Foggy being a kind person big on aftercare and pride and Matt breaking. :P

OH GOOD, I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE ELSE LIKES THAT IMAGE :D

Also, I can't help but imagine Foggy as...sort of helplessly vanilla sort when this starts? Like, he's not sure about this tendency Matt has to go to his knees when Foggy scowls at him. (But it's kind of really hot.) And he doesn't know much about how this punishment stuff is supposed to work, but he knows you're supposed to have some kind of safeword, so you are going to pick one, Matt.

And he thought he was doing pretty good for a newbie, but now Matt's using that safeword he said he didn't need and he's crying, and yeah, Foggy can hear the minions whispering from down the hall but he does not care. He is totally going to cuddle their Dark Lord and Master because the Devil looks like he really needs it.

Oh yes, and even though he's really sheltered he still gets the whole RACK concept better than Matt does. and I love that even as the literal devil himself Matt's the subbiest sub ever to sub.

Oh yeah, he knew, but like, he's still AFRAID. He hasn't forgotten that Matt is THE DEVIL, who OWNS HIS SOUL, like maybe Foggy was able to compartmentalize for the past few years but once Foggy is DEAD and has been DRAGGED TO HELL BY SATAN ... he's afraid. He's only human after all.
Doesn't mean he's not gonna give Matt a piece of his mind, in all caps, when he sees some over the top punishments of sinners going on.

I love the idea of the minions of hell getting glimpses of this and gossiping. Awww.

Concepts are one thing, but fleshing it out is another. :P I do desperately hope someone who can do the prompt justice takes it up, though!

Tbh, I am SO HERE for the accidental-voyeur minions who just CANNOT DEAL with this, like, Satan is SCARY, and Foggy's so NOT, but Foggy can bring their overlord to his knees with a word (~~or a hand fisting his hair~~ ~~or a grip on the back of his neck driving him down~~ ~~or polite words uttered with the sort of warning tone that indicates a storm is brewing~~) so he MUST BE FEARED AND OBEYED.

But all he wants is for them to stop with the unreasonable torture?

Would Foggy have any powers? Like, if Matt actually placed him as his consort who has to be obeyed, well, he's not a demon, but he is technically now soulless and an officer or noble or whatever of Hell, so if he catches a demon going behind his back to do something awful, what would happen when Foggy Nelson's temper snaps?

Exactly, that. Like Foggy was initially scared when he first made the Deal, and then for the past few years he compartmentalized and was like, chill about it, because why waste his last few years anxious and terrified, and it worked. And then it came time for the end of the deal and Foggy was right back to being terrified because, y'know, DYING, and getting DRAGGED TO HELL, and Matt is, freakily, acting just like he has been for the past however many years (Seven? Three? IDK, magic numbers though) and it would kind of be easier if Matt was suddenly TERRIFYING EVIL SATAN MONSTER SMITING YOU WITH A LOOK, but he's not, he's still Matt, with the pretty puppy face and the adorable smile and still treating Foggy like a friend and acting like nothing has changed except the scenery and Foggy just does not know how to deal with this situation at all.

Concepts are one thing, but fleshing it out is another. :P

That is a very good point.
I think it'd be great if Foggy doesn't have ANY powers, at least at the start. The minions think he must, and interpret his control over Matt as legit demonic powers, but it's just Foggy being himself.
Maybe once he's been Hell Consort for a while he starts getting powers develop slowly, like when he yells it knocks people over or his touch can leave burns if he's mad. Matt is DELIGHTED. And Foggy of course is HORRIFIED by this and spends a day barricaded in his room freaking out and Matt waits outside consumed with guilt for making Foggy a monster JUST LIKE HIM.
But it all works out and Foggy learns to control his powers and use them for sexytimes so it's all good.

Exactly! But from Foggy's perspective, he just thought Matt was playing at being human and that would end as soon as the deal was up. Like it was some game for Matt, which Foggy enjoyed as long as he could. But it doesn't end. It's not an act. That's just how Matt is. When he's not torturing the souls of the damned for eternity.

I'm mixing my fandoms now but I'm imagining the demons like the War Boys from Mad Max Fury Road now, like, toppling over themselves to please Matt and then toppling over themselves to please Foggy now too. Like one day Foggy's like "Uh ... good morning?" to one of them, and like, Dave the Demon runs off like "HE TALKED TO ME HE LOOKED AT ME AND YET I AM ALIVE! HE SPARED ME!" and all the other demons are like "oooooo, you have been honored!"

Ooooooooooooooooooooooh. I WANT THIS STORY SO BADLY.
I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON SOMETIMES. I WANT THIS STORY TOO. SO MUCH.

Yeah, I imagine it'll take Foggy a little bit of time to really come to terms with the fact that Matt isn't going to go all devil wings and burning touch on him and really is just... Matt. XD

--- I am laughing so hard I actually have tears in my eyes, this is so fucking amazing, I love it. XD I can't tell if I want to write it or draw it, and I don't really have time for either, but I WANT IT.

I can't stop thinking about this prompt and minions. XD now I'm picturing like:

Foggy: Hello! How are you, Dave?
Dave: *beams and flees to report that he was acknowledges* I WAS WITNESSED. I AM NAMED.
Minion: Truly? What did He say?
Dave: HE ASKED HOW I FARED.
*minions 2 and 3 exchange looks*
Minion 3: And you're certain it wasn't a called threat to harm your current condition?
Minion 2: A warning?
Dave: *stomach plummets*

Foggy: Is Dave okay? He looked fine this'd morning, but by evening he seemed really twitchy and sick.
Matt: Who's Dave?

Ahahahahaa, yeah, my headcanon that the demons are like the War Boys is now cemented. Bombastic word choices and worship/veneration of Matt and Foggy. Yes. My gods.

Matt: Who's Dave?
Foggy: Oh, for the love of GOD, don't you know your own demons?
Matt: There are a lot of them, okay?!
Ahahahaa. Foggy turning into like, Gru from Despicable Me, who knows all the minions' names and such.

Of course Matt doesn't know their names. He has no friends except for Foggy and he's so self-flagellating he decided nobody wanted to spend time with him except out of obligation. So he ended up being this broody, terrifying, self-loathing, scary, desperately lonely Devil who storms around enacting horrible tortures on sinners and feeling eternally alone.

Foggy WOULD know their names. XD Would make a point to. And then once he susses out the tension and hierarchy between Matt and them, I can see him trying to arrange like... A team building meeting or something. Where everyone except for him sits stiffly and uncomfortably and really just want to get back to punishing sinners.

And Foggy is just, *facepalm
