When Matt refuses painkillers, its not because he's trying to be tough or masochistic, its because Bad Things happen when he takes painkillers.

Asprin? Makes him puke.
Ibuprofen? Ulcers and puking.
Synthetic opioids? Fucking seizures.
Morphine? He stops goddamned breathing.

Now, give me a well meaning paramedic trying to treat the barely concious Devil of Hell's Kitchen and nearly killing him in the process.

As someone who recently discovered an allergy to most pain medicine, especially the ones with aspirin (which is in a lot of freakin pain meds apparently) I'd love to see this prompt filled!

as someone who has no medical allergies and is only allergic to pet hair: YES this particular headcanon/prompt GIVES ME LIFE like. i am all about matt's terrible weird medical history after the radioactive chemicals.

OH GOD YES.

(There was one a while back about him just being allergic to All The Medical Things, and I desperately want it as well.)

I am here for anything and everything involving poor Matty suffering.

I'm just imagining a paramedic calling the number on the medicalert bracelet that Daredevil is wearing on his wrist, hoping that she might get some clue about his identity, when actually Matt got the bracelet with a pseudonym (Daredevil? Some sort of Lucifer pun?) and the paramedic is confused but also amused and very worried about just how many things this guy is allergic to.

Aw, dammit. This is happening.
