Find me that song that perfectly encapsulated your first OTP. You know the one I mean. The one that just explained everything that Draco could never say to Luna Lovegood. The song that made bitter tears fall on the poorly-spelled lemon that told the epic tale of Haldir and a mysteriously-named Mary Sue half-elf who singlehandedly fought the battle of Helm's Deep. Give me some over-the-top Daredevil vintage songfic set to that song. Admit it: We all had one. This is a safe space. Let it out.

Obviously more sure to Superman, but would work for DD in a pinch. XD

Mine was How to Save a Life. It could work as Daredevil, I could see it xD

i've never been fandom-level interested in something before so i have a couple sort-of-otp's but have never been interested/invested enough to associate songs to them. that being said, a couple days ago i was listening to iris by the goo goo doll's (which i have to assume is probably the most cliched/over-used tragic otp song) and my first thought was honestly "this is so matt/foggy episode ten"

I once wrote an incredibly terrible songfic with the lyrics to Taylor Swift's Love Story overlaid to it so.

uh. Matt and Foggy pining away for each other while Taylor Swift plays in the background, I guess?

Oh man. "Chasing Cars". It wasn't a song for my first OTP - I mean, that song is from 2006, I was in fandoms for YEARS by that point, but definitely the first song who made me go "this fits my current OTP, yes good".

And currently? "Not With Haste" I suppose.

I can't think of an OTP song from the past, but I 100% NEED somebody to write fic for Daredevil based on Evanescence songs from the 2003 movie. Because I remember when "Bring me to Life" and "My Immortal" were just inescapable. :DDD
