Okay, so I'm totally not sure where I might be going with this, but basically it could look like this?

They are in a club and Foggy's describing the 'mating dance of the common bro, now happening live at the table behind you' in such excruciating detail (and in such a low mumble into his glas that Matt is the only one in this room who could be aware that he's even speaking – to anyone else, he supposes, the scene has to look like Foggy's steadily chugging his drink and ignoring Matt, who doesn't have anything in front of him, head meekly bowed and waiting for his partner to finish), that the 'meek and cowed' posture of Matt is actually more of a desperate clawing of fingernails into his thighs to prevent himself from laughing out loud. He hopes that this comes off more 'frightened' than 'halfway into a giggle fit', anyway.

„Foggy,“ he tries to hiss under his breath without his lips twitching, „Stop it, you're ruining our facade!“

Foggy, for his credit, at least stops for a moment, regards Matt – and then seems to have an idea.

„I thought I told you to shut up!“, he barks, voice definitely more slurred than it should be after just a single beer, and, after a second of slight surprise, Matt takes up the cue effortlessly.

„What-? No, Franklin, I didn't say anyth-“

„I said, be quiet!“ Foggy bangs the bottle onto the table, Matt dutifully flinching at the noise.

„God! Let a man drink after a hard day's work. You sit around uselessly in the house all day anyway, what would you even know about stress?!“ Foggy sneers, and Matt can hear the muscles in his face pull into what probably is a contemptous expression. For once he isn't sorry he can't see his friend's face properly – he doesn't think he wants to know what Foggy looks like, looking at him like that.

Matt bows his head again. „Sorry, Franklin,“ he mumbles.

„Yeah, you better be,“ Foggy grumbles, raising his bottle again. „Honestly, can't hold a conversation worth shit, but always wants to open his mouth.“
„Sorry, Franklin,“ Matt repeats again – this, at least, is a phrase that will always come easy to him, although usually it would be 'Sorry, Foggy' – but in truth, this is actually all going quite nicely. They haven't been here for even twenty minutes, but their little tiff already does not seem to have gone unnoticed. While they were play-acting, Matt thinks he already sensed at least three heads turning their way, and one or two heartbeats picking up in a flare of irritation. None of them spiking in a way that would suggest the person is actually a killer in search of his next murder victim and had just found it in Foggy, but at least it appears like they seem genuine enough.

....maybe? Yes/No? My main problem is I really have no idea who this mystery killer could be and whether he/she has some sort of specific motivation for their murdering spree. And where they're hiding and how Matt and Foggy will eventually catch their eyes at their outings. Ideas?

...O_O The only thought springing to mind currently is 'more please and thank you!'

This is amazing! I hope you write more.

I have no idea who the killer should be, but you could always make them an OC?
