When you summarize it all like that... yeah, everyone's having a bad day this issue.

The released videos and the reason why they're so damaging is kind of related to what's been going on throughout V.4: the videos are particularly of clients of Matt's, which violates attorney-client privelge and essentially ruins both his and Kirsten's legal reputation as newcomers to San Franciso. Coupled with the fact that to everyone but Team Murdock, Ant Man and his doctor, Foggy is considered dead (rather than in hiding b/c he's more at risk now Matt's public as DD and he's vulnerable from the chemo), Matt's offer to Fisk doesn't exactly come out of the blue. but is still noble but stupid because jesus Matt this guy is your archenemy why the hell would you do that

Looks like the whole finale may be trying for a gold hat-trick.

Yeah. Well, I wanted to be brief in my explanation. xD

Oh gosh, I kept yelling at Matt this whole issue. His offer to Fisk especially, it was so self-sacrificing that it went past 'noble' and straight to 'completely idiotic'.

I'm so afraid for Foggy and Kirsten now. D:

Your explanation made me facepalm about how BAD everyone's life has become, so, while succinct, it definitely got the point across :-)

'Completely idiotic but somehow gets away with it' is Matt's MO right? ;-) But yeah, Matt, you're sweet, but an idiot.
