HOLY GOD, I KNEW I RECOGNIZED HIM FROM SOMEWHERE. i watched this movie when i was very young (shout out to my stepdad for not kicking me out of the room when he should have) and this movie scared the bajesus out of me. i'm laughing so hard, omg.

So I was thinking about Matts whole "World on fire" thing and I realized that the guy totally sees people naked.. Hear me out his "sight" is based on sound and temperature right? So I don't know about you but when I listen to a person the clothes and skin rubbing together make sound not generally the clothes themselves also body heat.
Now for the prompt part I want Foggy to realize this as well and go 'oh so thats how he always knew they were hot' then like 'wait oh my god its like the heartbeat thing all over again!!! ' then '...I'm the only one that he has stuck with long term.. Why is this hot? I shouldn't be finding this hot!' and it turning him on when he sees Matt and it getting worse when he realizes that Matt probably knows he's turned on. :D

INDEED. there are other instances like braille signs being ten feet off the ground which would be fine to maybe shaquille o'neal but definitely not to your average blind dude.

No, no, don't stop. Omg, okay so I've been writing this au in which 616 Matt winds up in the MCU (it's the selfcesty one), so with some alterations this is doable.

I keep misreading the title of another prompt and getting briefly excited because I think someone's requested a Discworld crossover... so here one is! Anything would be amazing. The Devil of Ankh-Morpork? Karen von Überwald? Death watching Matt's every move, because his timer keeps nearly running out?

I love the fact that you and I have - despite the vast differences in tone and content of our ideas - unanimously decided that Matt Murdock so utterly fails at Being A Real Boy that it never occurs to him to just SAY SOMETHING to Foggy. XD I super loved Matt's oh-so-very eager, "let's talk, I love talking!" prodding at Foggy ("Yeeees? Yeeees?" almost made me sporfle part of dinner) and the way he just wibbles when Foggy asks uncomfortable questions because of Crazy Ex.

And OMG AGGRESSIVE MATCHMAKER DAREDEVIL. It is SO VERY WRONG. And so utterly fucking hilarious! XD Well done, anon!

Also, I approve of the idea of Daredevil trying to matchmake Foggy and Matt. Because, again, utterly wrong and completely hilarious.

Hell, I was one of the people eyeing a prompt on Part - uh, 2, I think? - which asked for Matt & Daredevil as two separate people. Who both loved Foggy. And Foggy loved both of them in return. Haven't taken a stab in earnest yet because I can't pin down who Matt would be if he's not DD on the side. Well, and because it was spiralling out into a massive AU epic. BUT I DIGRESS.

I had a long conversation with someone today where we basically came to the conclusion that Sam Vimes is a combination of Matt and Foggy - this stone-cold badass who believes in the power of the law and of the people because if not then what's the point of fighting, this guy who keeps getting knocked down but gets back up again and surrounds himself with people who love him and who he cares about fiercely back, a guy who won't kill because he's so scared of losing control one day that he's created his own internal watchman to hold back the dark that's in him.

This was a long-winded way of saying SECONDED!

Hi! So, I’m sorry if this comes off as incredibly rude, because people don’t usually do this on kinkmemes, but there were a couple Britishisms that really stood out to me and I thought I’d highlight them here in case you’d like to edit them when you switch the story over to Ao3?
