COMMUNITY VOTE - Reposting Prompts
How do you feel about prompts being reposted? Should it be banned entirely, or only allowed after a certain number of rounds have passed, or something else? Similar prompts will always be allowed, because it would be ridiculous to try to ban those, but prompts that are copied word for word from previous rounds are up for debate.
We do have most of the prompts from post #1 and about half of post #2 up on the Delicious account, so old prompts don't just disappear into the ether.
Mod will have the final say, but I'm all about the path of least resistance.
ETA: Okay! So, tentative new rules:
We'll have a week long prompt freeze/fill fest once prompt post #3 is finished. If that goes well, we'll have one at the end of every round.
Reposting prompts will only be allowed after one round has passed - i.e., prompts from post #2 won't be allowed to be reposted until post #4, and can only be reposted once per post. You must provide a link to where it's been previously posted (mainly because it makes it a lot easier for us managing the delicious account, but also because previous discussion on a prompt can be very inspiring).
If a prompt has been filled, you can't repost it. Prompt something else.
