My concern is that they won't be able to get off of the ground without Daredevil.

nayrt but I really don't think that's going to be a problem. Most of fandom didn't know who daredevil was before Netflix but they've eaten him alive. Jessica Jones looks like they're going to capitalize on what made DD so good and maybe improve on it. What is it about the other defenders that makes you think they won't have a successful fan base?

They just don't seem like fandom's usual 'type' to get a lot of attention. But I would love for fandom to prove me wrong so *shrug*

From the first post I know what you mean, but the show hasn't even been released yet. Have some faith in your fandoms! It seems like people are already getting excited, which is a good sign. And remember AOS and Agent Carter both have pretty strong fandom niches, so I don't see why diversity would be a reason for the Defenders to not as well. :)

Honestly, my concern is actually that the Daredevil parts of the meme will be overshadowed by all the other Defenders stuff.
