The chemical truck said Rand industries on the side, didn't it?

OP - YAAAS! *high-five* I forgot all about that! Okay, so the show filmed that the chemical spill truck was a Rand vehicle, but they cut that giveaway in post production (didn't they?), and I kinda assumed they might show it in flashback when we finally get the Iron Fist series. Someone correct me but I don't think that truck has ever been a Rand Industries vehicle before? It's always been like ACME or whatever in the comics. Maybe there was some sort of settlement, after all? I don't think a settlement is ever mentioned, Jack Murdock seemed really concerned about leaving Matt some inheritance (why would he be so worried if Matt actually had some other means to help financially support him?) but maybe Rand stepped up later when Matt was older because responsibility and all that? And I guess it would tie the shows together even more than they already are? Matt and Danny are destined to be really good friends, after all.

The only other thing I considered was Matt's mother. I assumed Jack was calling her before his last big fight and asking her to step up, but she never does that we see. Maybe she's not going to be a nun in the MCU? Maybe I should be considering a (literal) sugar mama instead of a sugar daddy.

Maybe when his mom becomes a nun and takes her vow of poverty, she *handwave* anonymous benefactors whatever she had to him as an act of penitence.

I don't think she's going to be a nun in the MCU. If Jack really was calling her - he reached an answering machine. I'm 99% certain that, generally, nuns in the 90s didn't have their own answering machines to record their own private greetings on.
