So I'm thinking about doing an AU where Matt becomes a pro boxer, and for that, I need to know his weight. I know that Charlie Cox put on 15 pounds of muscle for the part, but does anybody have any idea where that leaves his weight?
I'm guessing he would be somewhere around here as far as weight classes go:
Featherweight 126 lbs. Super Featherweight 130 lbs. Lightweight 135 lbs. Super Lightweight 140 lbs. Welterweight 147 lbs.
According to the men's fitness interview, the producer wanted him to go up to 175lbs. He doesn't say if he met his goal. According to the interview, he was about 158lbs when he started and was considered very thin.
In the comics he was a heavyweight in the What if one-shot where he dropped out of law school to box, but MCU Matt is shorter and slighter than comics Matt.
my advice for you is to not accept whatever marvel says about matt's weight because a.) they aren't consistent and b.) in the marvel encyclopedia a male hero's weight is weirdly enough a 230 lb default, which would make matt both a.) hideously overmuscled and b.) cause him to drop like a rock every time he tried to do parkour.
i'm going to take a guess and say comics matt, who is 6ft tall, is 185-190 lbs, TOPS. any heavier and he'd likely have a problem. and for mcu matt i'm agree with the anons above, charlie was very thin in stuff like boardwalk empire so i'm guessing it's around 170 for daredevil.
Marvel says DD is 6' and 200lbs. For anyone who draws and is familiar with anatomical proportions, the Chris Samnee version of DD is drawn a little taller, closer to 6'2" actually, and maybe a smidge over 200 lbs. Really long bones on him, but also slightly underweight for his height. That DD is a big, powerful dude.
Charlie Cox, otoh, doesn't have anywhere near the same bone structure. Shorter, more narrow ribcage, much lighter bones than comics Matt, but Charlie has more defined muscle. The show has done a really nice job of making me believe Matt can throw a mean punch, but to get the most out of that light frame, they were super smart to incorporate the parkour. I'm not sure I'd have believe Charlie capable of comics!Matt-level physicality, otherwise.

So my best guess is anywhere from 165-175lbs.
