(Anonymous) 2015-07-25 03:54 am (UTC)(link)i cannot hate fisk more. i feel bad for him, sure, but i think steven deknight being quoted as wanting to make the audience root for fisk at times is.....misguided? i mean. fisk's team consists of drug pushers, strong arms, and sex traffickers. who knows what fisk was planning to have done with that little boy in episode 2 had matt not saved him. fisk clearly views the lives of those living in hell's kitchen as...worthless? expendable??? idk how anyone could root for a guy who treats humans like tools and barter pieces.
also i hadn't even considered the implications of "women who can be bought are worthless". that is......disgusting, actually, to think about from that point of view and it makes my skin crawl lol
