Realistically, the third episode of the show would've taken place over 1-3 years. Even if Fisk pulled strings to speed things up to an unrealistic degree, it would've taken 6-8 months. On the actual show it was probably a couple of weeks (Matt had time to heal up all the way, but Claire is still cat-sitting in the next ep). So, I think you can argue that the MCU canonically has a speedier criminal justice system.
