Well, Stick was training Matt to fight an actual war. Who was the Karate Kid gonna fight, HIS OWN ISSUES? UGH. WHAT A LOSER>Just kidding

And the terrible thing is Stick never explained anything about that war. Poor bb Matt wasn't training for anything more intense than Stick's approval.

Poor bb Matt! What's really horrible is comics Matt ends up being super protective and cares about Stick even after Stick ditches him. My heart can't take it. I want to be thankful for Matt's ridiculous skills but I absolutely hate how possessive and mean Stick is with Matt.
