In the show, Foggy only calls him buddy or pal, but I'm certain he calls him Matty in the comics on occasion (same with Fog). I have memory issues due to head trauma, so I won't discount the possibility that I'm wrong, but I feel pretty confident about it and I've been a DD fan for 30 years.

Yeah, he definitely calls him "Matty" in the comics.

"Fog" sounds right too, though I can't think of any particular issues/eras where that shows up.

I swear he calls him "Fog" in the most recent run once, but I don't have all the issues, so I can't check properly.

yes he did! and foggy typically calls matt "matty" either when he's really worried about matt or being affectionate. i love it, it's adorable.

Ah, okay. Some things are easier to identify as coming from the other source material than others.

(But why doesn't Foggy's nickname need a nickname tho?? haha)
