Somebody please explain why I got a math equation for the catchpa. I don't wanna do math on a kinkmeme!

Yeah, if I get an annoying captcha I just get it wrong on purpose, and usually the next one is easier.

The drawback is, if you get the captcha wrong too many times, your comment will misfire.

I think it's just how DW captchas work. As far as I know, they start enforcing captchas after a certain number of comments on a post (4,000, I think?). And the math thing is probably what DW automatically puts there. Not sure if you can change it to something a little less math-y. :-)

Pretty sure it's 5000 comments, but yeah, I think it's all controlled by dreamwidth. I don't think it can be changed by users.
