I don't think so...though they were on the same side during Civil War, so maybe then? I didn't read most of CW.

Huh, more wiggle room then. I ,for one, feel like they'd adopt Matt or Matt would adopt them. He'd probably manage to be, somewhat, the voice of reason and America would probably listen to him in a way she wouldn't with other people.

Do you have an specific fic questions/plot help you wanted OP?

OP is partially here to discuss the age difference and if there's a canonical thing for that or if I should just slam the accelerator and hope, and partially to seek a beta with knowledge of YA. Also, I sort of want to talk about Billy and Claire getting along. I feel like theirs would be a solid friendship.
