What I usually do is at first upload the files to mediafire and then just make a post on ao3 that links to those files. Then I get my stuff put on the podfic archive (http://www.audiofic.jinjurly.com) by either making a post on amplificathon (if you google it they have a dreamwidth and a livejournal and they'll upload your stuff to the archive) or you can just fill out this form - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1giVNR4-vM_EfulsVSZVcuPPdvK1VTc-WFi7iWRQOKCc/viewform

Once my stuffs on the archive I link back to there instead of mediafire on my ao3 (although if the podfics short enough you can also stream from mediafire so sometimes I leave that as an option). The archive is just generally a better way to store stuff imo - it tells you how many hits you're getting, keeps everything in one place, and links to the original fic as well as your podfic.

I don't know whether mediafire is the best option to go for but I works for me (I've also used Dropbox, though). Also, ao3 has a page here about embedding podfic so people can stream it - http://archiveofourown.org/admin_posts/250

But I've personally never been able to get that to work for me :') hope this is in some way helpful but I'm sure lots of people have other/better ways of doing things haha
