Wow, thanks for this. It looks close, but I don't think it's entirely accurate. The bed is in the wrong place, and the hallway is different too. Wish I had time to fix it, because I think I have a pretty good idea about the layout of Matt's apartment by now. Off on vacation tomorrow morning, but maybe after I get back.

As for the questions about the "upstairs" part, I figure there is no actual upstairs, as in rooms he can use. There's a sign somewhere that says "roof access", so in my mind it leads to the roof, which is the only thing that's actually still above his place. Maybe some storage space or something, who knows? But no actual living space, I should think. It also explains how he gets in and out of his apartment undetected when he's dressed as Daredevil. (Pretty clever, if you ask me.)

Also, I'm fairly sure that it was previously firehouse, if only for the ladder on one of the walls and the old fire hose that is mounted to another wall close to it. You can see it in episode 10 when Foggy looks at Matt's chest that houses the Daredevil clothes.
