That's true. When Foggy found out in the comics, Matt had already been Daredevil for like 20 years, and it was well-established that (a) he was a superhero, not a supervillian, and (b) he could more or less take care of himself.

Kept in the dark for 20 years must ahd hurt but liek you said DD was an already established hero and Foggy knew he was safe.
Here the first thing he saw as DD was being framed of terrorism and that he beat people up and then he found his friend bleeding and dying on the floor. Yep. Trust issues are going to come after that and Fopggy getting all over Matt's space is understandable.
