I feel like understatement can be a powerful force in storytelling, and that your genre of slavefic is legit. I mean, that's a very different way of writing it/putting in violence or awfulness than I end up doing, but it's a totally legit and cool way to do it, and I like basically all the slavefics on the meme, so.
