Re: What do other slavery fans/authors like from it?

I'm very picky with fic - I don't like dark versions of characters, and I'm rarely interested in the villains. So for me, I like the 'I'm morally opposed to slavery but got you anyway, now how do I help?' kind of fics.

For me, the iPad/Avengers, Snuff Bait, Opposite, and Lost and Found (on Ao3) fics have all been fics that have been really great for my personal tastes. I think all of them (except Opposite) have totally hit my narrative love of 'I'm dreading sex but will accept/offer it anyway, but it turns out you're too good of a person to accept.' (I actually have a personal tag of 'offering sex' in my bookmarks, heh, and it's not all slave fic.) I'm afraid I hated the MedFet one - it stumbled right into two of my big squicks (no slight on the writing or others who like it, of course). I haven't read most of the others, as they usually fall in to the dark character/villain thing.

I love worldbuilding, especially ones that get a little bit in to how other countries few slavery. I love seeing other characters, including OCs or other Avengers, and seeing how they feel about slavery. And I adore the h/c aspect of it.

(I also love how many slavefics we have in the fandom right now. I'd expect it of a bigger fandom, but this one isn't that huge, and we have so many, they can cater to all tastes!)
