Oh, right. I admit, even though it's against policy, I usually reply to anonymous reviews in the subsequent chapter (obv. this strategy doesn't work if it's a one-shot.) Since ffnet is far too large to have more than an absolute minimum of moderation, I've never had any issues.

AYRT: I've seen a lot of people doing that and while it can get a little annoying, I think it's the best solution to a problem.

However you're right that it doesn't work for one-shots but it's also very ineffective for completed multi-chaptered works unless you go in and edit. I'll admit I've not used FF.Net for years but I remember its editing system being extremely ridiculous and taking forever...
