The trailer is killing me and it doesn't even have anything from S2! It's brilliant, the music is amazing, and the scenes and voice over makes me MISS this show so bad. And I love the way the Punisher's skull actually forms wings and a choirboy skirt around DD (it actually reminds me of DD creating a snow angel on a water tower in the comics).

I just watched the trailer AGAIN and noticed that in the pediment over the altar, Matt's bookended by his support system, Karen and Foggy, and they're essentially a triptych. Which is amaaaazing. Also, DD's first costume, the man in black, has been canonised. He can be seen as a pious-looking statue behind the pulpit around the 1:05 mark on the video (look to the far left, the camera swings by him very quickly).

IDEK but the red costume has grown on me over the break between series. I'll always love the low-key, clingy black costume but the red devil suit? I can't believe Marvel used this kind of action butt pose (thank you, twitter, for talking about this) to hype S2 but I'm not sorry. DAMN, SON.

In the final montage It seems that Onlty Karen and Foggy are looking up at him and yeah over the image of Matt and Fisk it's surrounded my Foggy, Karen and the DD in black, His father and the fight with Noby. Pretty much we can say those are the things that defined, the things he fight for and what he is agains.

More questions: Who's the woman above the V in "DAREDEVIL"? It looks like Karen but she's already up there next to Foggy. And who's the guy next to her in the hospital gown (if he's meant to be anyone at all)?

The DA is on the far left in the top row, next to and a little below Jack.

I was thinking less of a direct replacement and more of a narrative replacement, if that makes sense? Ben's story/subplot took up a nice little chunk of the series - his loss opens up narrative space to be filled. And considering the new guy's in the top row with Karen/Foggy/Claire/Jack, I'm guessing he's going to be pretty prominent.

Oooo, and I just saw Stone and Black Sky!

The Black Sky placement is VERY interesting, actually - he's right in the center. The poster follows the scheme of the Last Judgement, with those ascending to heaven on the left (the good guys) and those who are damned to hell on the right (the bad guys). Black Sky is right in the middle of the frame, neither saved nor damned.

Unless that blonde woman mentioned below is Marci? Ben could be that guy below Stick and Melvin, I suppose.

cant find Marci there but Karen is twice same as Mrs. Cardenas and it's buggin me but wo si holding the sky and teh guy below him? Unless they are random¿?

Damn but that banner is beautiful. Whoever decided to model the new teasers after the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is a freaking genius. All I want to do is stare at how pretty it is. This and whoever did the opening credits for the show are just crushing it with their creative artistry.

...nevermind, I'm a damn idiot. The guy on the left is Ben, not the new DA. Sigh. That's what I get for squinting at tumblr images.

Yeah, that's what I meant about the replacement too. That would still be like, idk, they'd be treating these two black male characters as interchangeable. Also, Ben's subplot isn't really over yet. His story was very tightly linked to Karen's, and I think (well, hope) that Karen will be continuing the journalist/media/investigative angle, because that seemed to be what they were setting up in season 1. But anyway - I guess we'll just have to see what they do :D
