Has anyone seen them? :D I'm talking about the new photos of the Punisher, Elektra and Karen.

I loooove the photo with Karen in it.

Ehhhhh, that Matt/Karen picture. I can't help it, I just don't ship them. And I'm kind of side-eyeing the scenario, too.

It looks like Karen's trying to teach Matt how to play pool, and yeah, girl is probably enjoying it, but like. There is NO WAY that Matt Murdock, Stick's protégé, doesn't know how to play pool like a shark. So it feels a bit weird? Like Matt's pulling one over on Karen. I don't know, maybe the way they handle it will make me feel less weird about it.

(I think it's the deception leading to full body contact thing that bothers me. It's something I don't have problems with in fic, because that's fantasy that we control, but when it's portrayed in canon? Ehhhhhh. It makes me uncomfortable. Then again, it might just be me not liking that pairing. I'll own my biases.)

^all that said, I cannot WAIT to see more of Elektra. That dynamic intrigues me. Punisher, I've got no strong opinions on yet, I think it'll depend on how they portray him and whether or not they give him a decent character arc. If they glorify him at all, then I don't think I'm going to be a fan.

Though it does certainly look like they're going to do that scene where he forces Matt to pull the trigger. Both Elektra and Punisher seem to be Matt's dark mirrors this season, like Fisk was in S1.

Fair enough. I mean, I have to admit, I ship them like crazy so I'm somewhat blind (heh) to the possible problems they could have.

You bring up an interesting point about how the show will handle it, though. I still hope Matt'll eventually come clean about being Daredevil. Or Karen might figure it out herself, which isn't unlikely really. My dream of dreams would be if they did a will-they-won't-they we-both-know-you-know-I-know kind of flirting thing. Maybe a bit like Kirsten and Matt at the beginning in the Waid comics?

Don't you still need some sight component to play pool though? Like he might know where the balls all but he can't which are which.

It'd be an exercise in concentration. You'd know how they're set up before the first hit, then you'd have to track where each individual ball goes. Talk about multitasking. It would be a great way of training the mind to process a sudden chaotic burst of stimuli.

The photo is adorable and also heavily inspired by Daredevil: Yellow. Re those crying 'deceit': take it up with the comics. Also we have no context for this scene anyway so for all we know she is helping Matt's cover or just being cute.

Jon Bernthal is perfect as the punisher, I can already tell. I wish we got a pic of Elektra in costume.
