You should also consider that this is Christmas time. People are generally a lot busier with real life things. My most recent fic posted on AO3 only got three or four comments, when it's usually at least twice the amount, and a lot of my "regulars" didn't comment either. Things in the fic world are a lot slower than other times of the year, it seems.

It's also cold and flu season, at least for much of the northern hemisphere, right? (At least, in the United States it is, it looks like Europe is similar, and anon is too lazy to do much more looking because this information is actually pretty hard to find.) I personally could only move between my couch and my bed yesterday, and am very grateful that my dubious pinch-hitting wasn't needed for the Secret Santa.

So there are several reasons people may be a little less active right now.
