OP: Yeah, a few people said this, but I decided I didn't want to change the original posting date. Thanks for letting me know, though!

I feel a lot better about that fic, now, actually. It's getting lots of kudos (well, lots for me; I'm not a very good or prolific fic writer). Although it still hasn't garnered any more comments, oddly enough.

I think I just wanted to moan. Thanks for allowing me, and even joining in, some of you! I'm still willing to listen to anyone else's complaints about stuff they've written.

I think it depends on the subject matter as well?

I write some things that people don't tend to admit to liking in namespace, so I get a lot of Guest kudos, or private bookmarks. And my hit counter continues to increase, so people are obviously reading it.
