Krysten Ritter (the actress for Jessica Jones)

I've been watching analyses of the trailer for the show (streaming Friday! Woo-hoo!) and I keep hearing, "And of course, we all know Krysten Ritter" and I think "Oh, yeah! I do! She's Gia Goodman!" and they continue "...from Breaking Bad."

Yeah, I've never seen Breaking Bad. Please don't tell me how wonderful it is: I have no desire to see the modern, multi-season version of a classic tragedy, where everybody knows the protagonist is doomed from the beginning due to his own bad choices. Okay?

But does anyone else see Krysten Ritter and think "Gia Goodman," or is that too obscure a reference?

This post confuses me, because Gia Goodman was her character on Veronica Mars (which is even more obscure than Breaking Bad really, but not to me. I always think about Gia when I see Krysten in something).

Her Breaking Bad character (who is fairly iconic in the show because her arc was so hugely important) is named Jane Margolis. And given that Breaking Bad exploded across pop culture for a while there, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what 99% of people know her from.

SA - Oh... wait... now I get what you meant. Sorry I read it weird. :S

I think it's because you didn't mention Veronica Mars by name in the post.

She was on "Don't Trust the B- in Appartment 23". If you like fish out of water comedies, you should check it out.
