i know very very very little about marvel aside from having watched most of the movies + daredevil and i was wondering, do dc superheroes exist in any way in the marvel universe??
i mean in terms of like, would anyone ever say "___ is your kryptonite" like would foggy ever say that to matt or does the marvel universe have absolutely no reference/knowledge to/of the dc universe?? i mean as far as i'm aware they don't exist as actual people but like do they exist in comic/character form?? could foggy have read superman/batman comics growing up??
Re: this is probably the dumbest + most confusing question
o.p here: i'm mostly asking because i want to write something inspired by the song "kryptonite" by three doors down but then i was like "would this even make sense in the mcu?? would they know what kryptonite was?? who superman is??"
Re: this is probably the dumbest + most confusing question
Short answer: yes. DC is a comic book company in the Marvel universe. Foggy could have totally read Supes or Batman comics.
Long asnwer, also a personal headcanon: I like to think that all the Marvel properties that don't fall under the MCU - so the X-Men, for example - also exist as comic books in the MCU. I find it funny to have MCU characters discuss X-Men or FF. I can see Foggy being all excited for the Deadpool movie.
Foggy and Matt could have also read Captain America comics. It's MCU canon that Steve had comics written about him.
