OMG what is Foggy watching from the rooftop while surrounded by the police? He has the same horrified look on his face that he had when he was questioning Matt about being DD. Is he watching something bad happen to Matt? IS HE? I HAVE TO KNOW.

IKR. He's watching soemthing horrible happene and if he's tehre it has to eb about Matt. Mayvbe he's seeing Matt and Frank fight and he doesnt knwo what to do

my initial reaction was he was watching frank being frank and killing or otherwise intimidating people OR, as the above anons have suggested, watching matt fight frank and being worried as all hell about it.

(there was actually a day where they were filming at a warehouse that was supposed to be full of irish mafia members, frank, and....foggy. i get the feeling foggy's going to run into frank on his own time and it's going to get Scary.)

right? My question is if it's Frank down there being Frank, why aren't the police trying to shoot him or stop him? They're just spectators like Foggy. Unless Frank is killing the mob and the police are just letting it happen, because sure let one bad element take out another bad element? Or will have the NYC police in S2 progressed enough so that they're supporting and backing DD now (like in the comics) and they're letting DD handle Frank?

i'm waiting for the moment when Frank disables DD with a sonic bomb or shoots him with a tranq because I think we all know that's coming eventually

Yeah. Im really intrigue by that set up.
the two military guys are chill as fuck watching what is happening while Foggy is distressed by it. Maybe whatever happened it had already happened and they are watching the aftermath.
For Foggy to be there he had to be in the main scene in the first place and someone got him out (Matt of course) and he is watching and thinking what can he do.

Maybe the military dudes apprehended Daredevil. Part of me wonders if they're doing a "OH NO MATT/DAREDEVIL IS DED" subplot (which would be cool) but I feel like Foggy would be a little more distressed in that situation maybe? Either way I am also super intrigued.

I like this idea but if Foggy thinks he's watching Matt get killed, how does he even keep his cool or not shout, 'MATT!' which would totally not be good? Although I kinda like that idea too, that Foggy wouldn't keep his cool if he's actually present when Matt is kicking ass/getting his ass kicked, and accidentally calls closer inspection on Nelson & Murdock if everybody thinks Foggy knows DD. Man, look at me being all intrigued about plot points which won't resolve themselves for months. I love this show. :)

I was wondering if maybe Foggy was being taken in by the cops because someone made the connection between N&M and DD.

i took a screenshot! the two cops are in SWAT gear almost and clearly aren't in the process of taking foggy into custody. foggy's arms are still in front of him and the two cops are armed with what looks like assault rifles, but they're lowered, so they're clearly not planning on shooting anyone in that scene.

a friend of mine told me that in the punisher's comics, there have been cases where cops stood down and just let frank kill off whoever they were sent after, because they secretly agreed with what he was doing. it's possible foggy and the cops showed up to the scene of the carnage and foggy is horrified that the two cops aren't doing anything (which could further feed into his doubts about what the law can really do, and realize matt needs to stop frank? it's a bit of a stretch but it makes sense to me.
