da - Elden jokes, yeah, I've watched some of his other interviews to catch his beat and attitude, so that's why this one actually seems like he was being honest and once he said it he looked hella sorry and was like okay someone else talk plllllease. Super awkward moment, didn't feel like a joke at all especially considering what Jon said that he didn't want to call the DD set 'fun' because everyone is very dedicated and professional but I also had the sense that Jon doesn't have any scenes with Elden yet? They kind of caught Elodie with a question, too, and when she started answering it she got freaked out because of Marvel's tiny red dot when the cast is spilling secrets. Seriously, how hard is it to work for Marvel anyway?
Nobody has mentioned later in the interview when Elden apparently cited a fun day when he just kept flubbing a line for a very long time. That speaks to them being very exact about their scripts or they would have been cool with one tiny line of improv. Nobody looked too thrilled about Elden laughing about it though because I guess it went on for a long time? More awkward feels there. I understand it's acting, actors will fu their lines, but I was surprised at Elden's comment and everybody else's haha no reactions.
idk idk Elden may be unprofessional but a totally loveable person, that's fine, I hate the idea that fandom is just going to make excuses for him. I have an officemate I can never depend on, she's such a slacker, and I can't actually trust her with anything with deadlines on it, but I really genuinely like her and am totally fine spending time with her out of the office. Maybe Elden is like that, who knows.
DA: I think everyone did laughed when he said that or at least those involve in the scene (Charlie and Deborah) . Charlie said it went for a long time and he coudnt say it maybe it was because they had to do it in certain way and he just couldnt but they were truthfull and when the interviewer asked if he get the line. He looked at them and said he believes he didnt get it and the rest just laughed. It happens to everyone. I dont think that makes him less of an actor.
