The Mighty starring Elden and Kieran Culkin was one of my favourite movies as a kid and Elden is the star of the thing.

It's also got Gillian Anderson and Sharon Stone. It's about two kids - Elden playing one who has learning disabilities and other emotional difficulties, and Kieran playing one who is physically handicapped and very ill - who help each other through a really challenging time for both of them and become friends.

It's super inspiring, the performances are great and it will make you bawl your eyes out. Not sure why it didn't become a classic. The message is really great and it's really well-made.
