hey kink meme what type of dog do you think the main cast would all be?

(particularly foggy. it's for a fill but there are so many dogs to choose from and I want some suggestions)

this is so cliched but all that springs to mind when i think of dog!foggy (doggy?) is golden retriever. just a happy coincidence that golden retrievers (according to google at least) make up 15% of guide dogs. and (again according to google) their temperament is: reliable, friendly, kind, confident, trustworthy, intelligent. i think that all fits for foggy.

One of my friends suggested one of the big fluff monsters like a newfoundland and I can't help but think about going with a cross newfoundland/golden retriever (they're called golden newfie, ohmygod)

ok same anon as above but you got me thinking.


alternatively for foggy i think an afghan hound. they have really long straight coats and (the temperaments are all according to google i don't know dogs /that/ well) they are: aloof, clownish, happy, dignified, independent.

for karen all i can think is a greyhound (this is mostly going by looks) and they are: even tempered, athletic, gentle, quiet, intelligent, affectionate

and for matt i see a doberman pinscher (because they have sticky-uppy ears that remind me of the horns) who are: alert, obedient, loyal, energetic, fearless, intelligent
