All of their classes but one are law school classes (not possible in undergrad), and the dorm is completely consistent with their canon Law School, but that's what headcanons are for.

So I'm interested in reading some of the Punisher comics in light of the season 2 news and having come across him in some of the older DD comics. Trouble is, as is my trouble with all new comics I'd like to read, I have literally no idea where to start. Anyone got any good recommendations?

I was listening to bad blood the other day and it made me think of them :'))
i know i'm super late to this party but also fisk's actor has autism. idk if he was projecting any of that onto the character (d'onofrio has referred to fisk as childish so i don't think i could go further into this w/o getting uncomfortable b/c i'm autistic myself and would rather not someone's autistic traits be referred to as that, but d'onofrio has the right to speak abt it any way he wishes) but yeah that may explain why ppl were interpreting him that way.

not at all! use of syntax and vernacular can be a pretty dead giveaway in a lot of instances, oops. for example i hate using caps when writing conversationally but a lot of users here do so my comments stick out like a sore thumb, imo. also the way people title their fics can be a giveaway, weirdly enough? like i title mine with song lyrics so it's not really difficult to tell who i am, especially since i have linked my ao3 account before, haha.
hell's kitchen is pretty much fully gentrified and a lot safer than it's portrayed to be in the show, right? i mean i'm not from new york but i've taken trips there multiple times and my most recent trip was actually for school and involved a guide who was living there, and he said hell's kitchen was a scary place to bee in the 80s/90s but that new york had basically made an effort to clean it up. like, in the old days you'd see drug addicts all over the sidewalks and shit but now the last time i was there i saw some fairly snazzy stores/restaurants and watching daredevil had me like "???? this show takes place in 2015 what the hell is all this gang activity"
i mean i guess you could handwave that with "well hell's kitchen was fucking destroyed in the battle of new york so they had to p much start from scratch, all the rich ppl moved away, and the neighborhood reverted" but yeah i was....incredibly confused about that, hah.
i'd like to add that generally i'm a major opponent of gentrification so i don't think irl hell's kitchen being safer is necessarily good, imo, because i'm sure all that crime and poverty was simply pushed elsewhere.

EEL LIQUOR. it is a thing that exists. actually, to my surprise, the practice of sticking dead animals in bottles of alcoholic beverages is not uncommon. it either adds flavor (yikes) or it just makes the bottle look more badass. and knowing how shady josie's is, i don't doubt she somehow got her hands on something that might not pass customs with flying colors.
as someone who was unfortunately very into homestuck for a length of time, i can confirm their UN is related to one of the trolls......which is something i wish i couldn't say i knew.
as for the sheer GIRTH of their fics, i just....dunno. it took me somewhere around a month to write and perfect a 7k fic. 12k a week seems like absolute madness and i cannot comprehend how anyone could do this without their fics suffering a tremendous drop in quality.

charles soule is taking the reigns on the relaunch of daredevil! he's a former attourney who has also written she-hulk (which was very excellent and actually focused a lot on jen walters BEING AN ATTOURNEY, so i am excited about more courtroom action in daredevil vol5) so i think this could go very well!
as an aside, though, when matt offered to get plastic surgery to become unrecognizeable i almost cried. i was reading dd 16 in the car on the way home and i had to keep a poker face or else risk turning on the waterworks in the passenger seat.

i have, um....somewhere around three 8tracks mixes entirely dedicated to mattfoggy. i have made a total of seven dd-related mixes. what has this fandom done to me.
