not at all! use of syntax and vernacular can be a pretty dead giveaway in a lot of instances, oops. for example i hate using caps when writing conversationally but a lot of users here do so my comments stick out like a sore thumb, imo. also the way people title their fics can be a giveaway, weirdly enough? like i title mine with song lyrics so it's not really difficult to tell who i am, especially since i have linked my ao3 account before, haha.
