Different/new anon here; I just rewatched ep 3, &, compared to ep (5? 6? the other one), there's way less of a ~visible shock wave. The punch in ep 5/6 throws even Danny himself back, whereas the one in 3 just breaks the sword & tosses Electra back-so it looks like the force of the punch in ep 3 was just much less.
Also, it does take a second or two after Danny holds out his hand for Matt to take it & stand up--could be because he was assessing Danny, but could also be because he was a little stunned. So it's maybe a bit of a plot hole, but I don't think one of the biggerones.
