Defenders-only Discussion Post

This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.


Rules:

• General
  
  1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. If you don't like something, scroll on.
  
  
  2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
  
  
  3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
  
  
  4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2017 TV show in some way.
  
  
  5. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.


• Prompts
  
  1. All types of prompts are welcome.
  
  
  2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).
  
  
  3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.


• Fills
  
  1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.
  
  
  2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.
  
  
  3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.
  
  
  4. Multiple fills are always okay.
  
  
  5. Fills can be anything! Fic, art and vids are all welcome.

Do you mind gen, anon? It's obviously fine if the answer is 'lol yes I do thx', but I do have ideas around this, it's just that I don't know if I'd be able to make it shippy. (I'm not a shipper in general, close friendship tends to be more my speed.) I mean, it would definitely get to Super Intimate Friendship and Maybe You Could See it as Pre-Slash/Romantic levels, but I don't think it would quite count as Danny/Luke over Danny&Luke.

Anyway, thoughts?

SORRY (this is why I am terrible at being anon lol my mind is too scattered so I just leave a string of questions) but--would you like Luke and Claire + Colleen and Danny to be amicably broken up? There wouldn't be any notable romance either way, but still, just to know so that I can get all the character dynamics sussed out.

Thank you for your kind inquiries SA, I have never been so pampered by an anon in my life ☺.

I don't have any triggers but add warnings as you see fit. I wondered about tagging the prompt with a warning but decided against it. Go as tragic or as dark as you'd like.

I don't really have deep thoughts on Luke+Claire or Danny+Colleen other than not wanting those relationships to be the focus. Having Luke and Danny both be single could add an interesting element but it's not a necessity for me.

Nice, you're giving me so much space to work with! I'm so excited to write this. And no problem! It's your prompt, after all, and I'd be so sad to accidentally write something someone who'd written a great prompt didn't even want to read. Anyway, I'll just be over here writing some hurt/comfort I am PUMPED.
