This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.


Rules:

• General
  
  1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. If you don't like something, scroll on.
  
  
  2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
  
  
  3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
  
  
  4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2017 TV show in some way.
  
  
  5. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.


• Prompts
  
  1. All types of prompts are welcome.
  
  
  2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).
  
  
  3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.


• Fills
  
  1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.
  
  
  2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.
  
  
  3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.
  
  
  4. Multiple fills are always okay.

Alpha!Jessica/Omega!Matt, established relationship, supportive partners

Just Alpha!Jessica and Omega!Matt being an awesome snarky couple. They fight bad guys as well as people who think their partner is, respectively, a "cold hard b. incapable of human emotions appart from anger" or "a useless in a fight (doubly because of his blindness) good only for one thing" omega. Matt uses his lawyer skills and Jessica her sharp (and foul) tongue to shut down anyone that dare talk like that about the other. While at first they pretend to be annoyed at one another "I can fight my battles, thanks", in the end they're both touched by the nice things that their partner said about them in those circumstances.

+ they find the way the other talk there, fancy lawyer!talk, and at least one-swear-word-by-sentence!talk, very attractive
++ alpha!women and omega!men are rare, so when people start being douches to them upon learning that Jessica is the alpha and Matt the omega and that they are a couple, they get the double wammy.
+++ they're still snarky/sarcastic towards one another but never mean, they know each other limits

OP : yes, the actors have great chemistry (I think they're the best of the bunch amongst the main cast, imho). The way Jessica reacted when she realised he was going to die shows how much he had grown on her. I alternate the whole series thinking : I want them to be BFF. No, I want them to be a couple. No, I want them to be BFF and a couple. No, they're like brother and sister, that's not right. No, they're absolutely not. etc.

Be it as a couple or as very good friends I love that between them there's a nice balance of similarities,that let them empatize with the other, and differences, that add spices and could let them learn something from one another.
